“I was very happy to take part in the first edition of Obciniada. It was a very good reason to come to Bucovina for the first time in my life, and the fact that it came bundled with concerts and trail running made me want to come back to the next editions. I hope that the event will grow from year to year and we will be more and more at the start line and, why not, we will have new distances added to the racing “offer”. This year, on the occasion of Obciniada, we saw the Wolves of Calancea live for the first time, and this was exactly the energy boost I needed after the 12 km run on Toaca.”
“OBCINIADA was one of the highlights of my year. The organisers nailed it- everything felt really well thought out. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the whole place just has this really friendly, welcoming feel. I discovered loads of great new music, danced, laughed, and met so many amazing people. “In an area where you don't have many opportunities to volunteer, Obciniada was an experience that showed me how nice it is to get involved in a project. The volunteer experience at the event meant not just work, but the joy of working as a team and meeting new people with whom to share the same passions. I was able to learn that everyone's involvement matters and how important it is to manage your time and emotions, even in tense situations. The atmosphere is unique, completely different from everything else. Just imagine what it's like to listen to your favorite songs played live. Obciniada represents the joy of being together, playing sports in nature and creating beautiful memories. I urge you to try this experience at least once, for I for one, can't wait for the next edition!”

How do I get to the festival site?
To get to Gura Humorului we encourage you to take the train or coach. If you come by car, keep in mind that it is a shorter road with other people by your side. Get some more athletes/festival-goers in your car!
If I participate in sports competitionsshould I purchase a ticket for admission to the festival?
Now! If you have registered for at least one of the sports competitions of the Obciniada brand, you automatically benefit from free admission to the festival, all 3 days.
Where can I stay close to the festival?
We are waiting for you with the tent in the festival camping area, equipped with toilets and showers, just a few minutes from the Obciniada plateau. Also in Gura Humorului there are various accommodation options at hostels and hotels.
Can it come with children? What about pets?
YES! Children are welcome, and there will be dedicated activities. The pets are very fond of us, with the mention that they should not be left free (without a leash) during the festival.
